Hello Ibrahim, we are sorry not to have returned to D Marin Didim this year but going in and out of Greek waters is expensive and the paperwork tedious so as we plan to continue to explore the Greek islands this year we decided not to sail back in to Turkey.

Your workmanship is excellent and we recommend you to everyone we meet.   We hope to return to Didim at some future date however we are to become grandparents this year so we may not be doing much sailing in the near future.

We wish you and your family well and hope that we will meet again sometime.

Dear Can, 

I have heard that when clients require canvas you suggest several different suppliers. I am writing to tell you of our experience with Ibrahim of Royal Marine Canvas. 

We have been cruising for 15 years. We had complete outdoor canvas, including cushions and sprayhoods) in New York and Ft Lauderdale, important yachting centers where the finest, most expensive canvas in teh US is made.

Ibrahim's work is as good as that work. His fitting, his attention to detail, his workmanship is superb. The quality of his stitching is truly fantastic--completely straight, every stitch the same length, even when he is working on cotton knit fabric. 

On our sprayhood he replaced some very thick Stratoglas panels, which was a very difficult job. He was sewing through two thicknesses of Sunbrella into old holes and the job he did was excellent. It could never have been perfect but he made it almost perfect.

He cares enormously about whatever he makes and even more than that, he is wonderful to work with: even-tempered, wanting only for his customers to get exactly what they ordered. 

Didim cruisers are lucky he is here and we think you should recommend him first before anyone else!
